June passed away January 7th at her home in Hollywood at the age of 91, with family and friends by her side.

One of 10 children, June was born April 1st, 1913 in Penticton, British Columbia to Anice and Henry Burbidge. After many relocations throughout the western United Sates and Canada, the family eventually settled in Denver Colorado.

June worked at Hal Roach Studios and in 1941 met the love of her life, Henry “Hank” Ludwin, training at the studio as a combat cameraman in the early days of WWII. June also worked at MGM. Married January 13th, 1942, June and Hank loved to entertain, go dancing with friends and together worked at Hank’s Hollywood production firm, R-TV Productions, until Hank’s passing in 1980.

To all that knew her, June was known for her optimistic approach to life and her deeply supportive concern for friends and family. A quietly strong and steadfast mother and friend, June was also known for her light hearted humor and gracious manner. She will be missed.

June is survived by her son Patrick, daughter Vicki and Vicki’s husband Steve, and five grandchildren, Taryn, Kelly, Casey, Laura and Susan.
